Hi,

This year at IBM Innovate, I'm lucky enough to be co-presenting the
session "AS-2123 Case Study: USDA Showcases Best Practices for
Automating Security Source Code Scanning as Part of Continuous
Integration". This is a presentation about how built upon our Jenkins
CI successes to rollout IBM Rational AppScan Source Edition as part of
continuous integration. If there are any Jenkins enthusiasts who will
be at the conference, I encourage you to come see the presentation,
and maybe even meet up during lunch.

Hi Jacob,

sounds like a really interesting topic. Perhaps you should consider submitting
this talk<http://www.cloudbees.com/forms/jenkins-user-conference-call-papers.cb>to
Jenkins User Conference either in SF, Herzelia, or Antwerp.

have a wonderful day.

And include it in Jenkins CIA program, if it is not there yet :-)

Bruno,

The CIA wiki page includes the comment by Kohsuke to "Please send it
to the dev list!", so I think this is the right place to discuss this?
I would be interested in participating, but the IBM conference is
the first week of June, so I'm not sure there's time to make that
happen? Any suggestions?

Hi Jacob,

Indeed the dev-list is the best place to discuss it. I've changed the
subject of this thread, to call attention to your presentation.
Hopefully someone in care of Jenkins CIA will get in touch with you :-)

Today I received a IBM developerWorks e-mail, with the IBM Innovate
hotsite link [1], are you presenting an OpenLab, or a Workshop? I'm
going to US in July, so I won't be able to attend and watch your
presentation, but I hope you post it somewhere about your continuous
integration with AppScan and Jenkins.

All the best,

Will you be presenting or talking about Jenkins? If so, can you email me
offlist a brief couple of paragraphs about the event for the blog. Also if you
want me to send you some stickers to give out, include a mailing address (I can
get them out ASAP) and a rough estimation of how many you'll need.

Sorry for the late reply, I just got a shipment of stickers ;)

Hi Jacob,

Glad to hear you accomplished it.
I've implemented a AppScan + Jenkins integration using AppScan REST
API via ShellScript. I have created a Jenkins Job to:
-Start job
-Get status and wait until it finishes
-Send an email with the AppScan job link

I won't have the opportunity to be in your presentation but I really
want to see your solution (approaches, tools, pros, cons). Could you
share it with us (even after the event)?

Cheers,
- Henrique
